2011 iPad App of The Year Snapseed Available For Free Till Midnight

As part of Apple's 12 Days of Christmas promotion Snapseed, the iTunes Rewind 2011 Best iPad App of the Year, is available for free until midnight tonight. I reside in the U.S. and was able to download the App for free despite the 12 Days of Christmas app being available exclusively in the U.K. and Canada.

Snapseed, developed by Nik Software, normally retails for $4.99 and is an incredibly powerful mobile photo editor especially when used on an iPad. Users can perform a ton of simple photo adjustments like tweaking exposure, saturation levels, and utilize built-in filters. But, on the iPad the the application has the potential to be an extremely powerful editing tool in the right hands.

Nik Software is known for their desktop photo finishing and editing products and the fact so many of the features available on their desktop clients shows up on the iPad and iPhone is a testament to the developers. The ability to work with photos as large as 16MP makes Snapseed useful in ways lost to the average Instagram user.

A full review will come later, but for now snag this software for free if you can. If you can't $4.99 is a heck of deal considering the app's capabilities.
