The Secret Whereabouts of Apple's 50-inch TV

According to Apple sources speaking in confidence with USA Today, the first known 50-inch Apple "iTV" may already exist.

The latest clues out of Cupertino suggest that the hottest prototype in tech is likely residing in a very secure location - the California studio of Apple's well known design guru Jonathan Ive.

The report reiterates the now longstanding rumor that Apple will mass produce a 42-inch or larger LCD TV with built-in Wi-Fi and Siri-control features. But the juiciest element of the article came in the form of an Apple insider's revelation that a "slick" prototype of a 50-inch "iTV" is presently in Ive's possession.

Although certain aspects of the product design and its corresponding functionalities may not yet be known by all, it will come as no surprise to anyone - not even Woz himself - when Apple finally raises the curtain on this product.

"I do expect Apple to make an attempt," Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple, tells USA Today, "since I expect the living room to remain a center for family entertainment, and that touches on all areas of consumer products that Apple is already making."
